As the title suggests is it possible? I need both for under £50 as I'm on a tight budget after shelling out for my new bike
Reccomends welcome what have you got?
Cheers ben

These are excellent - http://www.parker-international.co.uk/1 ... tAodUgoA1Q
I've used a pair for a couple of years - two because I always like to have a backup and sometimes I ride unlit roads. You can ride on one only but two makes it reasonable to ride up to about 25mph safely without street lighting. They are tough (had one knocked off in a crash and it's fine) and the alloy body doesn't interfere with wireless computers if you use them. Compact and neat, long battery life and rechargeable.
I mainly use Smart lights at the back - Planet X do good deals on the R1 and R2 both of which are excellent and blindingly bright. £11 - £15. Again though, two are better than one.Faster than a tent.......0 -

Cree XML-T6 or U6 torches from ebay (not the zoom ones though). Two are enough to ride at 30mph on unlit country roads, superb. Shop around and you'll get a pair with charger and batteries for around 50.http://www.strathspey.co.uk - Quality Binoculars at a Sensible Price.

Jumping on this thread, but on topic, so which one of these you reckon?
Any one with experience of both?

Mainly for commuting, on both lit and unlit (i.e. pitch black!) country lanes.
Or would one of these

be OK with a XML T6 torch on my Helmet, like:

Or something else?
Thanks all0 -

Something like that + whatever mount you want, search for Cree 501b. Two of those are what I run for unlit roads. Torchy the Battery Boy has the best batteries and chargers, he sometimes has torches too. Give his site a google.http://www.strathspey.co.uk - Quality Binoculars at a Sensible Price.
