IT'S D-DAY!!!
Wooooo! The pot comes off this afternoon, which means I get out of work early too. Think I'll take a half day so I can come home first and have everything ready for my potless leg.
God knows when I'll be able to walk properly again.

Morning throbbers
After two 14 hr days this week and with one planned tomorrow I'm working from home to save the commute.
Hopefully the tranquility will allow me to get through all of the shite work I've got to do. Later I think I should celebrate Wednesday by visiting the pub :£0 -
I think there must be an idiots convention happening in town today judging by the number of idiots I have seen so far this morning. One moped rider and one commuter both dressed all in black riding along without lights on wondering why cars were flashing their lights at them. Then there was the car driver trying to do a three point turn on a two lane dual carriageway section of road. Luckily I had a good night's sleep and was fully awake.
This is the joy of having an HR department so concerned about their own wellbeing and careers they have precious little time for anything else.thekickingmule wrote:

Been a bit busy, hoping to have more time now so that my appearances are a little more regular.
I'm tired at the moment. But in good news I'm going to Australia for 12 days over Christmas so I'm now on a major bikini-diet.

summer this year over here is being flagged up as one of the hottest in a while..... so you could drop into 40+ degree days if you are lucky.
first proper week of spring and it is 30.7 degrees at 6:20pm.....

No coincidence that you have time to post on here now I've been posting a bit more regularly, which is great news for crudders as recent feedback suggests they have missed the frisson of our sexual tension, by that I mean me getting all sexual ad you getting pretty tense. Now a couple of points ref your holiday
1. No need to diet, you looked fantastic in that lingerie this morning, and matching too, on a Wednesday, I must say that was an unexpected treat.
2. When choosing swimwear you can save some money as I hear topless bathing is acceptable, nay, encouraged in Oz so no need to buy both halves

Nearly didn't make the appointment as all the taxi companies in Huddersfield were busy on 'the school run'. Who the fark gets a taxi from school!? Lazy barstewards. I had to get a bus into town and then a stupid high cost taxi back out again.
Bath time then GTAV I think.

Meh day in the office today. Everyone's been upgraded from Windows prehistoric to Office 2010 and nothing works properly. I no longer have Google Chrome, so no auto-translating Asian websites. Still, the coffee machine still functioned marvellously...
Commute home was a bit of an adventure, gail winds, a bit cold and heavy driving rain = no Strava records.
Fitted my new personalised plates to the car and then ate the last of my Birthday cake.

Another fantastic day, I nearly got out of having to work this weekend but unfortunately plans have been scuppered so yet again no proper riding this weekend. On the plus side, it is meant to be extremely quiet, but last time this happened all hell broke loose at about midnight on Saturday so I'm not getting my hopes up.
Oh well, tomorrow there will be much coffee being consumed and yet more of getting used to having a minion. I'm sure I'm not meant to have one at my age but oh well... good for the CV.0 -
