Fork mount front bags?

Hi all - I'm having a remembering issue which you might be able to help with. In France over the summer,I saw a tourer with what looked like smallish dry bags (roll top, like small Ortlieb) mounted by straps to the fork legs. Not just a tie-on, I think there was some sort of mount going on. Then recently I found something similar online, but got distracted and a) didn't bookmark the site, b) forgot the name. Any ideas? I know about the Salsa cage-style mounts, they're not what I'm looking for. I'm after a solution that's not dependent on braze-ons.
Any suggestions most welcome!

Carraice do/did some that have/had a simple U-shape support frame.
They're called Limpets and are/were made from black cotton duck material.
I don't think they're made now - can't see them on the Carradice site. You may find some s/h on ebay. It's an uphill climb to the bottom0 -

Limpets have been dead for ages; I contacted Carradice about these years ago. What you might have seen are these: http://cleavelandmountaineering.blogspo ... -bags.html
There is also a new Blackburn front rack in the works intended for forks without eyelets; no idea on ETA. Picture is here: http://www.bikerumor.com/2013/10/03/ib1 ... more-674470
