Morning scuttlers

General work related day followed by a Gym session to keep buff for me today, hopefully today will be an ocelot free zone.

I have a vat of coffee in hand and I've already weirded out my coffee shop/birdwatcher friend who it's doing thrush counts and reckons the number is down, she couldn't work out why I blamed cranberry juice for the decline.

Anyway enough second hand anecdotes, if the good lord spares us and the creeks don't rise I'll see you later.

Tarrah

    Meh

Another day of games/work, with the joy of a late night meeting = long an unsatisfactory day
  • Darn it, you beat me to it whilst I faffed with something!

    Mehning Losers!

Today is the last full day off the pot on my leg. I shall be free tomorrow!

I'm then tempted to take the rest of the week off work, as I learned yesterday that all the money I spent on taxis is probably going to be taxed when being given back to me. This means I'm probably going to lose over £50! I figured that will total to a couple of days off (Well, probably a lot less than that, like half a day, but meh). We will see.

I'm having a pork with apple sauce, gravy, stuffing and onion rings sandwhich later. I know. It's going to be awesome!

    Laters!

To be fair it shouldn't have even been close as I was up at half 3 but by the time I'd caught racing Ralph as he was going batshit mental around the living room it was time to go to work

    Morning bumders

Uni meh today, possibly road bikes later depending on how much I hurt and how much more I want to hurt, anyway, onwards to antibiotics, painkillers and breakfast!
  • Work... how is it only tuesday?

Nearly bought some new lights yesterday buy decided I want to save for a frame instead.

Staying awake and sociable is going to be difficult today.

Had a full night's sleep which is unusual for me so feeling surprisingly tired this morning. I think lots of tea will be required.

Another busy day ahead and then off to the post office to send a package via parcel force. Does the excitement never end?

Minion recruitment is glacial in its progress. The HR department have only just managed to get a written offer out from candidate selection on the 9th of September. I'm guessing now it'll be a New Year start date then.

I'm off to forrage for minion offerings and some tea.

    Later......

Wow. I'm in awe of your HR department!
You started your minion replacement process before me, interviewed before me, and my minions have been working for me for a few weeks now!
    Wow!

    morning all,

I had an amazing weekend in . 22 degrees sunday, I was in shorts and t shirt on the beach, in October!!

slightly spoiled by the obligatory map reading argument with the gf on the way home.

me "right which way do I need to go at this round about?"

her "I don't know, you tell me."

me "you've got the bloody map how am I supposed to know?"

cue all sorts of ranting and swearing at me because I didn't know where I was going :lol:

anyway, I should've been going for a ride later with NM but I can't make it now so I think it'll be FoD tomorrow instead.

    'ow do,

No work for me today, awesome. No bike to play with, boo.

Spoke to a lovely lady at Merlin about my fubar'd Rebas (which I did definitely 100% NOT ride the length of Wales with for 4 days after they broke..........) and she said they will just send me a replacement out as soon as they receive them from me - so courier will be sorted shortly to get them there tomorrow.

Conversely, our TV has given up so the new build fund has just been blown on a new'un which will be delivered next Tues.

And this is why you can't have nice things.

    Evenin' snowballers,

Heady day in work trying to prove the world wrong. We succeeded. Tomorrow is off site to help a customer try and stop worrying things happening. This evening will be food, followed by sitting on my arris watching the box and trying to write stuff.

    Onwards!

    Good Evening Freaks!

Don't talk to me about minion recruiting, I started in May and still haven't found anyone yet!

Today, was a good day on the bike, but a crap day at work. Nice chat about lights on the way home with another rider.

My brake adaptor arrived this morning, which also coincided with me remembering where the other two I own possibly are... Still, Coiler will now be rideable.

Now need to book a table for dinner on Thursday.

Nothing like a good Brazillian, but this if for work, not pleasure, so will have to be Chinese.
