Golly, but it's warm tonight

edited October 2013 in The cake stop
Just been out for a quick ride, 13 miles including a stop at the shops. I took my jacket, as it's October and the sky was clear. I was drenched in sweat by the time I got to the shops, but felt I had to wear the jacket on the way home as I was wearing a navy t-shirt and would be harder to spot without it.

Why is it so warm down here in the South of England? Think I'll get a barbecue going at the weekend.

The weathers always great down here, count yourself lucky you don't live in Scotland, there's probably snow and ice up there already

Rumour has it that there is snow on the hills. We call them hills but youd call them mountains.
20 degrees, shorts and SS jersey yesterday. Go figure.

Pretty cold all day yesterday. I wore two layers on the bike. That's for the first time in daylight for quite a while.
Current forecast is rain all day Saturday. Barbecue postponed.

I'm thinking about putting winter gloves on. And I'm at home!
