Righty,

i am looking to get the Dolan preffisio http://www.dolan-bikes.com/dolan-track- ... esets.html frame set to convert over my existing components from a Focus Cayo that has a knackered frame viewtopic.php?f=40004&t=12938629

I know i will need a chainset and BB, but what would people recommend to compliment the 105 but also keep costs down?
Also, cables?
Any recommendations for a good reliable set or are they a muchness?
I have a new chain and cassette so no worries about length.
anything else i am glaringly missing?

The new black Shimano Sora chainset + any HTII BB would do the job. Just get the cheapest one on offer whether it's tiagra or dura ace.
Clarks Premium Gear and Derailleur kits from Halfords are about a tenner each. They're very decent. For a bit more Jagwire Racer kits are good.
You need to also check the your FD band fits this frame or you'll need to buy a new FD. If it's braze on you can buy an adaptor to make it band on.
Also check seatpost diameter is the same or you'll need to buy a post.
