Mehning Losers!

Really CBA today. Could have done with a nice lie in. My taxi is already here and waiting, but he can wait another 5 minutes, as that's when I booked it for!

Apparently something major happened at work over the weekend, so we're on emergency stations from the word go today. Woooo.

Laters!

How many mixing desk Emergencies can you get? I have never seen them as hazardous, ant musical instruments really seem quite safe, I suppose you could wedge a baby in a tuba or pick up the wrong violin case and short yourself in the face with a mobsters gun but that's about it.

    Morning scuttlers

A day of train based work pour moi today as is the norm, not helped by a last minute dash as my train in was late and then the lift to our book on point was farked.

Well that was another weekend that just disappeared.

I have no idea what is in store this week but I have an over-riding feeling that some shoot is going to hit the fan at somepoint. Don't know what about but the feeling is there.

Got a badminton session tonight to look forward to. I've also got another package to collect at the post office.

    Later......

You'd be surprised. People get the odd electric shock from some of the desks, though I put that down to them being retarded as it never happens to me. I thought the power supply had a problem from what was described to me, so went in today thinking I'd be a studio down and have to get it sent off.
Turns out they hadn't checked to see if the speakers were turned on....

Uurgh - tired. Woke up a 5am and didn't get back to sleep. It's still dark when I wake up andjust getting light when I set off so will have to ditch the ninja commuting gear. Woke up a bit on the ride into work, esp when I hit thick fog which bizarrely was only for a few hundred yeards on the bridge I use to cross the Thames.

Now stuck into coffee and curry so feeling better.

What happened to the weekend? Where did it go? My lack of memory of it may be due to my food and wine induced coma lasting most of Saturday.

Currently trying to be 4 people in work today (make of that what you will). Doing 4 peoples work is not fun. And stupid people crashing on the M4 this morning started the day off really well. I love sitting in traffic for 30 mins before work.

    Afternoon All

Well the day started off ok with coffee at Costa then went downhill as I tried to pay some charity monies in at the local Cancer Research shop as it was close to Costa. Well after half an hour they had the money, cash, and I've got he paperwork to chase non payers up when back at work, then it all has to be returned so Gift Aid can be sorted out. I had the impression that it would just be a case of counting and handing over but No.
Anyway going through it again next week with more cash hopefully.

Might go for a ride later as my helicopter is not till noon tomorrow.
I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

Lunchtime sat at my desk in the office drinking beer might look a bit odd...

    Good evening freaks!

Coffee goes with everything, even curry.

Meanwhile, I was flying on the bike today. Not in a gnarly airtime sort of way, more a whooooooosh type of way. 7 pb's on the way home. :D

Still gutted I missed out on a Giant XTC960 frame on the weekend. It went for £26 and I was at the mother-in-laws with not internet connection.

Also, as I couldn't find the brake adaptor for the Coiler on the weekend, I splashed out a whole £1.24 on a new one.

And finally all the paperwork came through for my private plate, so will be fitting that tomorrow evening. :D
  • Well my day was shit...

I got to work only to find out I'd actually booked the day off but couldn't really be bothered to go home as it would have meant fighting rush hour traffic, that and I had nothing to do at home, don't have a working bike so really would have been pointless.

Oh well... Here's to the next holiday. I love working.

Unlike you bunch of dirt sucking shirkers, I don't post until I get back from work.

Dug a trench to find the original drainage from the guttering off the processing 'shed' only to find it was a pipe into a soak away, lazy, p1ss poor job that was. So embarked upon 3 gorges dam size excavation job to establish new drainage. Piddled in newly dug ditch to test run off. Run off A1, piping and concreting tomorrow. Fantastic Mehnday followed tomorrow by superb chewsday. I like my job.

    Bye girls.
