Half way through my ride this morning, the lock-out on my seatpost stopped working.
It will lock fully down but after that it's all the way up and won't lock - just bouncy
Does it just need a service/re-lube or is something broke :?:

Try dropping the seat down, lift the seat right up without pressing the lever creating a vacuum, then hold the seat at the top of its travel and release the lever. It helped with my hilo when went into suspension mode.
And you do it on your own risk

Just tried that and many combi's of up/down and lever/no lever but still the same. It was worth a try though.
I've had it 3/4 yrs and never serviced it so maybe something is sticking inside. I'm waiting for some of the special grease to arrive then I'll strip it. :?0 -
That is an option. Check the oil level and correct PSI. Clean and lube. You may just have dried seals that don't hold the pressure.0
