Shimano AM41

Looking at buying a pair of these shoes and just wondering how they size up,big or normal fit,usually about a 9 1/2-10.

I'd go one eu size bigger, I'm a 43 in spesh shoes, but a 43 shimano shoe is a bit too snug.

I'd say so... I'm actually a 10 in most trainers but the 9.5 am41 fit much nicer.

Do you need sizing to suit all your sock combinations?
My AM41s are the same size as all my other non cycling shoes and fine with my thick winter socks.

What about them? They're not exactly so thick they'll increase your foot size by a size or two.

tbh, just go to a shop and try some on... failing that, buy 2 pairs and send one back!

I have to go up a size as I have broad feet. If you havent got paddles for feet like me you should be fine.

I usually take a 10 UK, and wear EUR 45 AM41s which is a 10.5... they are roomy enough for sealskinz/thick socks without being too big with lighter summer socks. They are very comfortable. Sounds like you need an EUR 44, but try some and see.

Cheers Bartimaeus,thats kinda what i was asking.my sealskinz over normal socks do add that extra wee bit of width,which in turn makes the shoe tight which in turn causes the feet to become cold quicker,will see if i can source some to try,
