Not sure where to post this so here goes:
Really not happy, my landlord is a knob thats all i can say!!
He rarely comes round and tbh its been a few years since ive seen him which works for me, nothing wrong with my flat. So he called yesterday can i pop round and service the boiler, yep no issues do you want me to move my bikes so you can get to the meter or gas mains etc...no no just going to do the boiler.
Today, my OH calls me, landlord has turned up with some random gas engineer and wants access to gas meter, landlord makes some off the cuff comment about the value of my bikes, OH thinking why has he passed comment on them.
Since getting home beefed up my bike security, ive called him asking why he didn't say they wanted access yesterday as i would of moved the bikes, stayed calm about it all but she is worried about theft from home while we are at work

I'd say you're a paranoid idiot quite frankly. Past landlords have commented on my bikes, I haven't worried though. If you're really paranoid, get a small camera fitted and hide it somewhere.
Or give me the bikes. I'll look after them.It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

I think it is mandatory that a landlord gives you some prior warning before 'just turning up' and a reason for his call.
In my experience, if you start to get shirty with them they tend to become a little less conducive.
FWIW - I still think your paranoid.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Sheesh, it weren't greatly funny when I made that gag an hour ago.
Yet you've still thieved it!
Boiler's right though; filthy and used daily.0 -
I think pics of the 'OH' are required here before I pass judgement on the landlord.0
