It's like putting dogs on those extendable leads, they still run around and cause mayhem but just within the area of the lead.

Today I shall be strapping 4lbs of lead flashing to my frames and then attaching weights to each of the spokes at the rim in order to give myself more of a workout and shed some body weight enabling me to accelerate quicker and ultimately head faster into my own demise.

Unfortunately that would require riding the bike, and as it is pissing it down once again, it's not going to happen. Today is my last day off work unfortunately so must crack on and be productive.

Anyway I have an idea to reclaim the Crudcatcher and make it the fortress of retarditude it once was. When the powers that be created the hub, it was on the assumption that everyone who had a reasonably sensible question didn't want it descending into anarchical off topicness, so what is to stop us and other hubbers just posting their questions in here if its one they aren't as precious about? I have had sensible questions suitably answered in here along with hilarious weeweetaking too and made it much more fun.

So I say lets take back the crudcatcher!!!!

Spent a foggy morning/afternoon in southport with the fire service.

Arrived back home and happily the postman had delivered the last few bits for my bike so been putting everything together... Then after tea (home made chicken curry) taking it out for a test ride

Fingers crossed at llandegla tomorrow it wall to pieces.

Today, I wore lycra and rode a mountain bike both on and off road, in the pouring rain and driving wind. (so everyone please feel free to take the p1ss...)

Nice to be back in shorts, legs feel much better than yesterday. Should be back to normal to the end of next week.

Flights booked to Shanghai at the end of the month. Should be fun, even though it's work.

Home made Shepherd's Pie has just gone into the oven (made with the freshest shepherds...)
