Hello,
I'm heading off to Spain next week to do the Via de la Plata trail on my hardtail.
Just seeing if anyone on here has done it?
Tips/advice?
Starting in the North and heading South. This way I will be heading into better weather and it also gives me the option of popping across to Marocco if I decide to extend the trip.

Can't wait.

    Finished the trip.
Going southwards against the flow was better as the weather improved as I headed south. Cold in the north, hot in the south. Less sociable as no-one else was going south. Impossible to follow the trail as all markers point northwards. If you want to go southwards then need to be flexible. If you can't see which way to go then just take a bearing or head to the next village. Fantastic trip. Recommended.
