Whats happened to Cube's Style?

When I got in biking in 2012, Cube absolutely knocked me for six with the paint jobs on their bikes! The 2011 models looks stunning and the 2012 model Attention I bought looked great with grey tyres and black lines!
2013 bikes looked a bit boring but ended up with an anodized LTD Pro 29 which looked understated and cool...but this year...they look horrendous! Really remind me of a Halfords Carrera!

I agree, 2 or 3 years ago most of the range looked stunning, now the majority of them look awful.0

Maybe they have put more effort in to making their bikes ride well rather than just look good.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

As above. The budhet bikes were all about paint and looks and were little substance. Looks don't make a bike ride better.0

Why can't we have both!
The old ones looked amazing and never had a problem with my Attention, great spec for the cash and looked like Mr T did the paint job!0 -
Good aint on all the parts adds costs.0

I thought this the other day when I was in a bike shop!.
A few years ago there was one in the window and I thought it was the coolest bike I had ever seen!
They seem to have a new style logo too (which looks crap) and flouro colours. There is one that is flouro orange and I think it is the ugliest thing I have ever seen.
Then again, it was also said a few years ago that the bits were great, but the frames were not the best. I stayed away from them after that , but that was more to do with the fact that everyone on the trail had one!

I don't understand why people worry about the aesthetics of bikes. You buy them to ride, not to look at. Both my bikes are pretty ugly but they are great to ride.
When they're covered in mud all bikes look the same.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

It may well have been!
Incidentally, I clean my bike after most rides and my bike is in our room when not being ridden.
I like to look at my bike (this may seem odd), so the last thing I would want is some loud, ugly lump to look at (the bike, not mrs Carl170!).

I disagree, I actually think your nukeproof is generally good asthetically. It's simple and personally I like it0 -
It's almost as agricultural looking as an Orange. Big lumps of metal shaped for function rather than aesthetics. Its a great piece of industrial design. Trust me, its not pretty close up.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
