Drop bar mtb compatability issues

I have a Raleigh Maverick mountain bike fitted with this stem

It takes a 22.2mm bar.
I would like to fit Tektro RL520 brakes.

If I choose to use a quill stem adaptor would this work?

What do I need so handlebar, brakes and stem are compatible?

Yes but check the insert diameter which depends on the steerer diameter.

You will then need a stem to fit the adaptor and to fit some drop bars that you might get.

there are no 22mm drop bars that i know of.
