Shimano chainrings

Are all shimano chainrings (9 speed) compatible with the same bolt circle?
I changed my chain and cassette and it seems my middle chain ring is slipping! The deore is £10 the alivio is £12 at chain reaction can I buy the cheaper/upgraded one?
pity those who don't drink, the way they feel when they wake is the best they will feel all day

    yes but you might need a file

    Just looked further, deore m590, m532, m530. All 9 speed, what's the difference? I have files, what might need filing
