Dawes Discovery 401 (2010) brake replacement

Hi - I have a 2010 Dawes Discovery 401 with Quad QMD-6 mechanical disc brakes fitted to it, and I just wondered if anyone knows if I can replace these Quad brakes with a hydraulic brake system, and what makes (if any) are compatible?

    Probably but this is one for The Workshop.
    I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.
