I've got a Ribble too, and although I really like it, it doesn't make ME that "excited" :shock:0

You've got the wrong end of it.None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.0 -
Where is the reference to you, it's a reference to the subject"Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

So old skool he didn't even have bar end shifters0
-
But he only has one chain ring and, from the look of it, those rear sprockets run from low to ever so slightly more in 5 or fewer steps, so probably not much gear changing required.0
-
Connecting loop or one-piece bars that prevents the use of bar-end shifters.0

Doesn't taking offence mean that anyone can walk into your garden anytime they want?0

Old Skool but his position is still far better than most modern pros on their wind tunnel tested bikes.0

But why isn't he riding a Boardman...?
Did he get pissed off with the poor customer service at Halfords too....?0 -

I think someone already did that joke.
More back-pedalling required.I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -
CB made me smile the other day, commentating on the World TT and he spake of the guy who finished 4th "he can't go any faster than that but he could probably carry on for another 4 hours at that speed". I like him.0

You can still use a gear lever mount like this though...

When Boardman set a 25 mile comp record of 45:57 in '93, he was riding fixed (and wearing a helmet).
