Boardman MTB Comp 29" vs Pinnacle Ramin 2 29" ???

Hi... Looking for some advice on a new bike purchase please. Considering Boardman MTB Comp 29" (halfords) vs Pinnacle Ramin 2 29" (Evans) ???
Will mostly be used for trail riding with the odd bit of fairly easy going downhill runs around the Forest of Dean. I'm not a hardcore rider but fancy a 29er as an upgrade from my Fury.
Both bikes seem well specced for a scuffer like me, buying through cycle to work scheme so supplier needs to be reasonably mainstream (halfords, Evans etc...
