Felt AR1 or F1

I am looking to buy one of the above frames,
Which is best?
The only downside I can see so far is the F1 I am looking at has a BB30 so I could not use my current chainset, and the AR1 seems to be about a lb heavier.
Does anyone have any experience with either or both of these frames ?? 8)

The Felt AR bike series is all re-designed for 2014.
I wanted to post a similar topic so maybe will tag on to yours as well.
Has anyone ridden a 2014 Felt AR series bike yet?
Or can someone find a link to an actual test ride?
I've seen a few reviews of the spec and features (lighter, stiffer, more dampened), but no rider review.
I am thinking the AR-4 or 5 look good at the price points offered for Ultegra equipped bikes.2012 Felt F850 -
Well I've just built an F1 and it ROCKS! It is fabulous, fast, stiff and extremely comfortable..
I use my existing Chorus chainset with the campy BB30 cups, which is working well so far (touching wood!).
I also have the wheels manufacturing adapters to fall back if I get and creaking with the campy cups.
Best bike I've ridden...0 -
Are you considering the 2013 or 2014 AR-1? They are totally different.
New 2014 AR-1 is supposed to be similar angles as F-series (race-oriented) with the compliance of Z-series (sportif).
Not sure when F-series was last updated.2012 Felt F850 -

I am looking at the 2013 frames as they are a VERY good price at the moment0
