Hi all,

I know the mens road race is being held on Sunday 29th September but cannot find a TV listing on Eurosport or ITV4. Anyone have any info about this being shown in the UK??

Thanks in advance,

Mick

  • It probably won't be but steephill.tv are a good steaming site with what appear to be legal streams for most races (i.e. many of them are region specific).

Nothing like watching the classics with flemish commentary...
  • The Beeb are covering it:

    World Road Championships, Florence
Dates: Sunday, 22 September - Sunday, 29 September
Coverage: Women's time trial (Tue), men's time trial (Wed), women's road race (Sat) and men's road race (Sun) live on BBC Two, Red Button and BBC Sport website (UK only). Live text commentary on BBC Sport website of men's time trial, women's road race and men's road race
  • Got to be worth tuning in for the last 5 minutes then.
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles
  • Cheers for your replies guys. Unusual for the BBC to be showing the cycling but im glad someone is. I'll also check out the streaming site for future races.

    Thanks
  • BBC show it every year - extensive coverage on the "red button"
  • Eurosport will have it covered - no doubt from the start to the finish- in HD.

Nope - just on BBC as LakersLuddite said

The TTs are live on BBC2 from 1330ish tomorrow
    Women's race split between BBC1 & 2 on Saturday
Men's race on BBC2 on Sunday

As it's all on BBC1 and 2 it'll be on the HD channels as well
