Tights/Longs - choice of two

Ok, so I've taken ages to narrow my choice down to two.
Castelli http://www.wiggle.co.uk/castelli-sorpasso-bib-tights/
Gore http://www.wiggle.co.uk/gore-bike-wear- ... ghts-plus/
I cannot see the Castelli are wind proof? but I prefer the look (is that a good enough reason? lol)
Gore are well known for bad weather products.
Price is the same. I think the spec is that same? But no reviews on the gore, so I come to here for some, if anyone owns some?

Dear god - it looks like a ski suit.
Personally I prefer my shorts and Unpadded tights over the top.0 -
Sorpassos don't have windstopper panels - they are incredibly comfortable and can easily cope with temperatures down to just above freezing - they are my favourites, i have 2 pairs both long and 3/4. Gore will be typically good quality, but you'll notice the extra restriction of movement from the windstopper and it can get uncomfortably warm if the temperature rises a bit. Once you've enjoyed the freedom and comfort of padded tights, you'll wonder why people persevere with bib shorts under tights.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

You can get the Sorpassos for £121.50 from Ribble:

Then use voucher code 'BRIT10' (10% off). Only valid until midday today......“Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.”0 -
I have the Gore ones. Use them only when it gets proper cold as they are nice and warm. I tried on about 10 different makes before settling on them mainly because they looked good quality and fitted me better than most of the others. I would recommend them if they fit your body shape0

Got the Gore's and got some DHB Vaeon Pro's. The Vaeon Pro's are amazing for the price (I paid £30 for them!). They have a great pad and are very comfy but they have not got any windproof material and when the weather takes a turn for the worse or if its windy or raining/snowing I wear my Gore's. The Gore's are amazing in under 5 C temperatures, they are toasty warm and they will be good in rain, hail and snow (have tried them in all 3 legs never got wet). Mind you I paid £85 for the Gore's from Wiggle, as I had them price match Sigma Sport's price.x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x

Ah, yes, the Vaeon Zero's are equivalent to the Gore's but they cost more or less the same as the Gore's.
The ones I was talking about were the DHB Vaeon Roubaix which are really good but are for late autumn/early winter.x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x
