used zipp 404s?

Any thoughts on used zipp 404. Is it really worth the extra money to get new?

    To be honest it's not worth the money to get the used never mind new unless you really must have the look. Are you racing and do you really need the marginal gains they will give you?

    yes they are faster but as above do you need them ? but they do make your bike look faster as well :D

    depends on what the price is of the used ones and how much they have been used.

    All depends on what you can afford as well and what your use of them is going to be

    Check them thoroughly - Zipp are notoriously fragile and I know people who've moved theirs on because of durability issues.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    +1. Zipps aren't exactly famed for their reliability. Caveat emptor.
