No this isn't my new commute  I'll be riding out to the TOB on Saturday and wondered what the collective thought was the best route.
So far I have:
Hampstead to Regents Park
Hyde Park
A308 Fulham Road/New Kings Road across Putney Bridge
A3 Kingston Road (briefly)
A308 Kingston Hill to Kingston Upon Thames
A307 Portsmouth Road to Cobham
Accross the M25 on Horsley Road to Effingham Junction then West Horsley
A246 Epsom Road into Guildford.
Seems quite a simple route and only 40 miles so a social 2.5 hours
Any other ideas welcome.

Looks right to me, except I'd go along Lower Richmond Road of Putney Bridge and up Priory Lane into Richmond Park to get to Kingston, much better than the A3 / A308.Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX
Race - Fuji Norcom Straight
Sun - Cervelo R3
Winter / Commute - Dolan ADX0 -
what time are you planning on doing this?BMC TM01 - FCN 0

When I've been through there, I've usually gone via Plough Lane-Ockham-Ripley- A3 bike path (the latter not pretty, but...). Can't say I'm familiar with the A246 though.Dahon Speed Pro TT; Trek Portland

last time I went down Plough lane, Ockham, Ripley the road surface was atrocious. this was back in April though so may have improved...Ridley Fenix SL0 -
