It's getting muddy round our way now. What do you reckon to this combo - High Roller up front and a Beaver on the back.
Your opinions please!

Beavers should always be on the front. A back beaver is just plain wrong.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

I found the hi roller to be a bit loose up front in loamy stuff until it gets the side knobs dug in, this ends up feeling like the front is going to wash out with it understeering if you dont lean enough to get it gripping, though it never wiped out on me it never felt nice, swapped for Fat Alberts which seem better so far.Norco Aurum 3 viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=129395310

The Beaver is a lot more winter orientated than the HR, so in sloppy conditions your likely to have the grip balance the wrong way round....XR4 maybe up front?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

What would you recommend putting on the rear for general mud and wetness if a high roller is on the front?
