Hi the pawl spring on my Fulcrum Racing 3's has broken. I seem to be having trouble finding a replacement.
I have found these http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-track-bike/campagnolo-fulcrum-fh-re114-pawl-spring-for-freehub-body-box-of-5/campcasz270000000000
I have shimano fitment and these are campaq. I was wondering if these are still compatible?
Also the freehub bearings sound rough. Can you give me a link to the correct ones to get.
Many Thanks.

Sounds like the right time to convert to Campag!
As someone who just bought the wrong bearings for my Khamsin freehubs based on an internet thread, I would suggest you identify the correct bearings yourself! You should be able to read the number on the side of the outer bearing. Mine are (hopefully, second time round!) 12x24x6 69012RS. The number 6901 2RS is clearly marked on the bearing seal. I bought them from this Ebay shop - http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/engineersmate ... 7675.l2559
You can get SKF ones but they cost far more (though, oddly, the wheelbearings are cheap in SKF).Faster than a tent.......0 -
the spring is the same in both campag and Shimano f/h s
the R3 uses cup an cone bearings for the hub so a re grease may be ok? if its the freehub bearings, then the outer is easy to knock out and replace but the inner is not - never done it, but involves drilling a hole in f/b to release a circlip - apparently ???? OR buy a new f/h for 60 notes.
You ll need to remove and check the part number, std f/h bearings have the inner seal removed, fit a xxxx 2RS bearing, it ll last longer.0
