Have been offered as per the title, seller describes them as new and genuine bars for £100 ! I know it's far to cheap but I can view these next week, what should I be looking for just to confirm that they are genuine ? Would it be to anal to take some kitchen scales to confirm the weight ?

Thanks for any advice ...

£100 seems steep for second hand only £169 on Wiggle new. Try and get them down a bit and yes take the scales.

Be carefull because eBay is full of fake 3T carbon bars, one of "the last" items I bought/won on eBay was a set of ergosum team bars and they went back because they were knockoff, luckily for me I already had a set on another bike to compare the bars to.
The country seems to be full of fake 3T, Ritchey super logic and FSA K-Force, you can say avoid eBay but folk will still flog them on in other places.
  • But what's the give away ??

Ritchey WCS Logic II from Wiggle, not carbon I know but quality bars and only 68gms heavier also about £65.

The graphic and the red was different. Just ask where he got them from because there's loads of fake 3T knocking around, plus look at his feedback and if you're still not sure, walk away.

Good bars with a great compact curve but they have a narrow diameter.

Thanks for that but I've got other 3t parts purchased already so will be sticking with it.
