Solution: Weigh your pedals. Mine are 306g0

Indeed. If I see a bike weight "without pedals" I just add on 300g. Mine are 260g I think.0

If you weigh a bike without pedals, you might as well weigh it without wheels, bars or saddle...the end result will be just as meaningless...0

I never liked light bikes... the thought of my Raid Pyrenees mates thinking I dropped them all on the Aubisque, Aspin, Peyresourde and Portet D'Aspet among other cols because I was forced to rent a carbon bike still haunts me... but I can assure them I was in the form of my life and I would have dropped them on my Croix de Fer too...
Retrospectively... What a mistake not doing the Raid on the Croix de Fer!left the forum March 20230 -
FWIW UCI Regs state....
"The minimum weight of the bicycle (in
working order) is 6.800 kg, considered
without on-board accessories in place,
that is to say those items that may be
removed during the event. The bottles,
on-board computers and GPS systems
must be removed during the weight
check. However, the bottle cages,
fixture systems and clipped-on
extensions are part of the bicycle and
stay in place during the weighing. "
