For my 1000th post that is all I have to say

    What some of those flanges need is the application of some nipples.

    Now that's just taken this thread down a whole different road.

    While I admire your choice of nipple and this is my favored fitting, there are certain members on here who would probably prefer a nice male iron connector :shock:

    While at work I can't see what images you posted team47b so I can only imagine what sordid pipe fittings you thought of :shock:

    I'm personally more of a fan of the female iron connector myself :wink:

    I think by it's very nature it's always 'bent' so the analogy of straight or bent seems a little odd in this instance :wink:

    PS:- Will your flanges be within a pipework system mounted in a framework of members with gussets?

    Yup, if you have seen the bond film with Robert Carlyle in, the thing they use to go down the pipeline is a pig.

    Thank censored for that, I was looking at that picture and thinking is that something I should recognise but we don't get those in the building services industry :lol:
