What rear mech and chain go with 105 Triple groupset?

I'm gradually assembling a new 10 speed 105 triple groupset. Ordering the chain and the front and rear mechs tonight. Couple of questions -
1. Does it matter what type of rear mech I get? There are the 5701, the RD-5701 and the RD-5701 (SS) but I cant see a difference. Am I OK to get the RD-5701? (I want the groupset in black)
2. Next is the chain. According to Wiggle I need the 105 5600 Shimano variant for 10 speed triples but this is a little more expensive than the 5701 version for doubles. Is there a generic variant I can use? KMC maybe? Not sure what sort of chain I'd need for a 10 speed triple though - anything other than an ordinary 10 speed chain?
Cheers
Tom

Just an ordinary 10 speed chain. Wippermann/KMC/SRAM are all decent alternatives (although both the chain failures I've experienced have been on new KMC chains - perhaps I should revise my opinion!).- - - - - - - - - -

You'll need the medium cage rear mech for triple, the GS version. A short cage SS version won't handle a triple set up.
Any old 10 speed chain as long as it's Shimano compatible.
The difference between 5700 and 5701 is what cassette range it'll take. 5700 is 11-30 and 5701 is 11-32. So you'll be able to get a very low gear with 5701 should you want to.
Basically a 5701 GS is what you want. RD just means rear derailleur.0 -
Thanks guys - order placed!0
