Hoping some of you can recommend some options for a small adult mountain bike for my boy, he has had a go on a small Trek 4700 at BPW which was perfect, and he loved it, but the ony bike he can take out of the beginner area start at £55 a day rental so.....I think it's time to buy something.

Ideally looking at
£400 ish or as close to (happy to buy second hand) older model.
Available in a small size.
Has to be decent beginner spec not death trap failure bike.

Thanks
M

he's quite tall though isn't he mike? wouldn't any 15" framed bike be suitable?

or you could buy a frame and put all your nice kashima stuff on there from the canyon

a small 29er? might be too big though with those clown wheels

Sold all that now Kev, would have been wasted on the boy anyway, not sure about wagon wheels, I won't be able to offload my worn tyres and flat tubes.... nice price though.
