Ksyrium Equipe S Or Ksyrium Elite S Wheels?

I'm looking at upgrading the wheels on my road bike and can't decide between the Mavic Ksyrium Elite or Equipe wheels. Both sets come with tyres as part of the WTS system.

The Equipes are £370 for the set and the Elites are £500. Are the Elites worth the extra money?

    The Equipes are quite pedestrian wheels these days... used to be an upgrade 5 years ago, now they are no more

    Yes. I have both and the Equipes have been relegated to Winter duties. Elites feel more responsive and stiffer and I mean noticeably different. The Equipes feel no different to Aksiums IME.

    All are good wheels, I've not had a single issue with any of them. Forget the stats and specs, the Elites just feel so much nicer to ride. Only you and your wallet can justify if that's worth the extra though....
