Doing the c2c and stopped for a look at view and drink at loweswater then sky team jag came past with wiggo driving. He waved at us which was cool, a few miles further on he was parked up getting changed to do a recce to Kendal for day two of ToB, asked him (well his helper) if he'd mind having his piccie taken with us, no probs just let him finish getting changed. He then came across posed for a few had a quick chat and we went on our way. Surprising who wiggo gets to meet on his training trips ;)
Must add top man - cheers Bradley

You know the score, pics or it didn't happen  :P

Seriously though, that's pretty cool and nice that he's not too high and mighty to chat 8)

  • Catch them at the right time and they are all good ive found. Geraint and jtl were very nice when i met them, wiggo said hello to my mrs, but alex dowsett takes the top spot for me. Thoroughly likeable and chatty and didnt mind a picture either.
  • Was a wee bit apprehensive about approaching, but he could only say no, was as brief as possible and appreciated his time.

Life is like a roll of toilet paper; long and useful, but always ends at the wrong moment. Anon.
Think how stupid the average person is.......
half of them are even more stupid than you first thought.

Last year, i was heading home from a ride and went past a cafe with around 8 sky bikes lined up against a wall, slowing down and saw the team inside enjoying snacks and drinks.. I didnt stop as I always get star struck and have nothing to say and usually make a twonk out of myself when meeting "stars" 8)

Although I did have a decent conversation with the All Blacks in the gym who were staying at the hotel, they were top blokes! (apart from one of them who was air boxing, i stayed away from him  )
