    Yeah, plenty to laugh at.......

On the other hand...... he did seem to enjoy it!

Surely that's the point or am I missing something?
  • I like his style, lol. He's clearly enjoying his riding.

  • Terrible riding but he seems to be enjoying himself.
Needs a lot more speed to even get close to clearing those jumps.

Surely that's the whole point of riding, whether you're shite, or a riding god?
  • Yes but casing every jump will soon break your bike. There's a good reason why jumps have landings, it makes jumps a lot easier on your bike.

And your ankles & wrists, lol. What's "casing" though? ('Scuse my ignorance, only been around MTBs a few months, so not up on all the lingo).
  • Casing a jump is coming up short and landing hard.
General rule for jumps is when in doubt, hit it as fast as you can.

General being the key word there

Also, casing is usually not quite getting your rear wheel onto the landing. Well, thats what people refer to as casing.

A lot of full suss riders dont even know they're casing cos the back just sucks it up. You KNOW when you case on a hardtail

TBH I don't think I'd be clearing some of those, esp if it was my first go at that run. I'll give it a shot next time I'm there and see how it goes.

Those jumps are reasonable size. Commit or roll it. Jumps on black dh tracks like this are designed to be ridden flat out, you won't overshoot them, the landings are quite long.

    Is that a challenge?v

You wont come close but give it a try.

Cheers. Inferring from context, I figured that must be what it meant.

Possibly a rule for life in general too, lol?...

I can see from the Youtube clips that there's not much to lose from gunning it on that section. Like I said, I'll give it a try next time I'm there.
