Replacement Fork

I have a Cannondale SuperSix 58", and a broken front fork.
I'm going to replace it with the ENVE 2.0.
I'm about to buy one, and I realized I have no idea what to do with rake.
Do I want to match the original rake for the bike? I think it's 45MM on the original fork.
Thank you!

I was looking into this recently as I replaced the SAVE fork on my Synapse. The rake will make a difference if it's more a few mm, but watch out for the axle to crown measurement as this will affect handling too.
I got fed up of reading up on pro's and con's of changing the geometry with the fork and punted on a set of 3T Funda Pro from Planet X for £130. I think my SAVE forks were 45mm and the 3T were 43mm, plus the axle to crown was slightly different, but to be honest I couldn't really feel a difference in handling.
It may well change the feeling of the bike, but you'll get used to it in less than 2 rides.0 -
Thanks for the reply mitchgixer6
The original fork was curved, and the new one is straight. Does that make any difference?0 -
Don't think the shape of the fork really matters as it's the measurements (rake/axle to crown) that's important. My SAVE fork was curved and the 3T is straight and as I say I can't tell a difference in the handling.0
