Hi all,
I'm looking at getting a Turbo in the next month or so. Budget is around £150ish. Can anyone suggest a decent one for the money?
What are the advantages/disadvantages over rollers?
Thanks in advance.

Bought a Minoura B60-R (The R has remote adjustement from the bars, the D does not) a few months ago, delighted with it.
Had a good look at reviews and seems to be one of the best in it's price range (currently £111 delivered on Amazon). I doubt spending an extra £30 or £40 will get you much more TBH.2013 Canyon Ultimate AL 7.0

619 reviews on Wiggle would make a good place to start
I would tap turbo into the search feature and see how you get on. The main thing to work out is the type of turbo that appeals to you (different noise levels, feel, etc.) and whether you want a turbo or rollers. Rollers rarely have a high or variably resistance, which I find very useful. I use a Tacx Syrius (which I like) but I haven't tried others as a comparison. Also, I don't need to worry about noise or storage (not that the Syrius is bad at either of these).0 -
Another consideration is to buy one that's compatible with programs like Trainer Road and PeriPedal. These programs bring another dimension to turbo training and maybe something you'd like to explore in the future. You'll find a list of suitable machines on the websites.0
