Additional info to the linked article in Cycling News:
The article states the Zoncolan stage (31 May) will include the Sella di Razzo. This pass is also often called the Sella di Rioda, if anyone is trying to find it on map.
The article states the final stage (1 June) includes 8 circuits around Trieste. The circuits are 7.3 kms long, so almost the last 60 kms are at Trieste.

A couple of days before Zoncolan, on 29 May, the stage Belluno - Panarotta di Pergine could easily be as decisive. It goes over the San Pellegrino and Redebus passes before climbing up to Panarotta ski resort, on the mountain near Levico Terme. I think it’s a first time for the Giro climbing up Panarotta. The climb is comparable to the Alpe d’Huez climb in its length and average slope, and in having a number of hairpins one after the other.

On 28 May, the stage is Sarnonico - Vittorio Veneto.
It’s rumoured the missing day in the sequence 28 May to 1 June will be a hill TT in the Trient/Belluno vicinity (30 May).
  • Rubbish timing in 2014, last weekend doesn't match our BH.

That and the World Cup in Brazil means I'll have limited Giro travels next year :-(
