MagicShine lights Sorry, another thread

Hi,
I have purchased a CREE light from ebay (actually, I have had one before but lost it in the Spring so didn't own it for all the long, it was brilliant up to the point I lost it). As I understand it they are great lights with a suspect battery (not just run time but safety too). I have read up quite a lot about LI ion batteries and I think its safe to say I now know more than I ever thought I would about batteries...but the problem is I am still not 100% sure what to do.
Do I just use the battery that comes with it with the dodgy Chinese charger and an adapter?
Do I buy an 'expensive' charger, dissect the battery and load charge it for each charge?
Do I pay even more (up to £80ish) for the latest magicshine battery (which is compatible) and use there charge?
Do I see if I can find someone locally to construct a Li ion battery pack out of individual, high quality li ion batteries?
A quick run down of the lights usage, it will be used up to 3 times a week for a two way commute, so in the depths of winter it will be used for an hour each way and I'll be running front and back light from the same battery (ideally) but if the charge is cheap enough and its safe enough I can charge it at work and home after each journey.
Thanks for any advice and apologies as I know this subject has been discussed a lot.
