Hi,
The below wheelset at ribble, will it be a good upgrade from stock rubbish wheels on a Triban 5a?
http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-t ... snawhhr150
I've been looking at Fulcrum 5/7 and Mavic Aksium but everyone harps on about hand built....there isn't an awful lot of information about them, just wondered if anyone had any views?
Cheers.

Cycle clinic rates them... I think they are very heavy and as such maybe not the kind of upgrade you are looking for?left the forum March 20230

I don't think I could spend 90 quid on a set of wheels, can't see how they would be much better than what you presently have op, go up in budget eg 200 quid or so, and you have better chance of something better imo.0

Miche make good cheap wheels but an upgrade from what you have no they are not. Although it is the Miche Reflex I like for an inexpenisve but durable wheelset and that wheel that ribble have is not the Reflex. Not too sure what that wheel that ribble have, it is not in the current Miche catalogue.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0
