Tightening BB - friction on axle

New Centaur BB, tightened right cup, then left but as I apply more torque the axle has a little bit of friction, feels like worn bearings.
What's the solution? The left cup is slightly tightened probably around 10nm. I bought the right shell length.
But is this enough?

Say... That's a nice bike..

I've had the same. You have done the right thing in backing the torque off. Apply fresh thread lock and just take it as far you can. The one that I did hasn't moved since. Am I right in thinking that the left side is being tightened as you ride regardless of whether its Italian or English?Mud to Mudguards. The Art of framebuilding.

get the BB shell faced if there is any flanges that press on the BB ends or if external bearings."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
