KTM FR 990 Comp

I have been offered the opportunity to purchase a second hand KTM FR 990 Comp, has anyone got one of these?

What to they ride like, rockshox dirt 2 and Manitou radium rear shock are dated, is he frame goof enough to upgrade the suspension?

Any idea what they cost new, seller is looking for £400 which seems high for why might be a 2009 bike although in good condition.

Any advise most welcome, looking for using it at trail centres mostly.

    You can do better considering you're basically just getting a frame. I doubt the wheels or transmission will be any good if the suspension is pretty rubbish.

    My thoughts - other components are not too bad though.
    Hubs : Shimano M495 CL
    Brakes : Shimano M486 - 180/160 mm
    Front derailleur : Shimano Deore
    Shifters : Shimano Deore
    Rear Derailleur : Shimano SLX shadow
    Crankset : Shimano M442 - 44/32/22

    Still wondering if offering a lower price is worth it or just move on to another bike, this is just a second bike, main bike is a Cube Ltd 29 mainly for trailwork and riding with the kids but I live not far from Cwmcarn/Afan so looking for something to handle rougher trails.
