Is this front derailleur supposed to look like this?

I just bought this derailleur off eBay. I've never had this model of derailleur before (Shimano Tiagra 4400). It looks like the cage is bent, as both the inner and outer faces of the cage seem to curve outwards. The Tiagra 4500 triple and 105 5600 triple that I currently have on my bikes seem to have a straight cage. Does anyone know if the derailluer is supposed to be like this? It only cost 99p so not a huge loss if I need to get another, but I'd rather know if it's damaged before I fit it onto my bike! Thanks

    Its bent, and not supposed to be.

    Here's another photo. Looks like maybe the envelope got squashed in the post. Is there a more reliable method for bending it back than just using pliers or something?
