Morning Losers!

Well last nights thread certainly livened things up in here last night! I hope Fredblob doesn't remember to post things like that in The Hub, as it that was atoo much of a laugh. Come on Mods, let us have more threads of that manner!

Anywho, normal busy day of work, followed by a night of nursing my bruised hands (due to crutches, not punching minions!)

    morning d1cks and d1ckesses!

had a long day in work yesterday but it involved playing golf all day and then as i had blagged today off, i drove from sarf wales to Cambridge, got home at two in the morning! Quick post journey check of the CC and find i have missed being involved in the best thread that has appeared in ages!!! (Mods, how about a 24 hour minimum rule on threads being kept open?)

Getting the motah and trailer prepped today then it's off to France tomorrow evening for two weeks of wine, loafing, biking and the occasional walk.

  • Last night I managed to speak to the hatchet-faced b***h across the road about her anti social goings on. For someone who is supposedly degree qualified she is not very bright and could not see how anything was wrong. Still, she did agree to keep things quieter to the delight of all the other neighbours. I hadn't realised it was such an issue for so many people.

Nothing much on the cards today. I have a package to collect at the post office later but that is about it. I'm looking forward to a relaxing evening at home doing sweet f a.

    Later......

booo Thursday..best thread in the cruddy for ages has been locked :x

today i'm earning brownie points in work by doing things another contractor should be doing but is too lazy to do.

other than that it's work avoidance and trying to decide what to have for lunch. this cold is still lingering on and my bike is in pieces at the minute so I may take the DH bike out for an hour later.

    see ya's

    Morning bumders

Today is meh. PS3 and studying, possibly some bikes of some description. The SSSSS is on the verge of being finished, just need some even shorter chainring bolts as the "short" ones that turned up were too long and seemed to be made of cheese too so I have no intention of using them anyway.

  • Can't believe I missed that little gem yesterday, that must be the type of thread you guys reminisce about, right.

Anyway, Network Rail have decided one of their bridges is going to fall down within a week and want us to provide them with repair details and drawings asap. They told us on Wednesday and want the drawings by Friday. Lol.

Last nights thread was spotted to late, i believe it should remain open for more ridicule.. it was amazing.

Today is my first 1to1 with HR to discuss my not having a Job probably next year which blows. otherwise on to free food and and bike based fiddling later.

Posted in it with two tears in my eye, one reminiscing and one laughing at the stupidity
  • And there is still unanswered questions in that thread that need answers.....

The opening post, the four pages of comments, and LOCK THIS THREAD in big bold lettering as I scrolled through were all tell tale signs of a CC special. I can't beleieve god gave us Freblob to save the crud, he's like jesus in a way.
  • Well I've just had a meeting with my line manager and her line manager (a director). Turns out that I'm about to lose the Mac part of my job. I'm absolutely livid about this. I built it up from scratch and am having it taken away from me, plus, I wanted someone to work for me and look after it. Now, any possibility of promotion has vanished.

I f*****ng hate this place some times.

refuse to train the new person on how to use the kit, that's what a guy did working for us. he'd learnt it all himself, paid for training himself and then they said he had to show someone else how to do his job and he'd do something else...I think his exact words were 'no fucking chance'
  • That's seriously tempting. I think I'll have a chat with HR nearer the time to see if that has any repercussions. Hmm do I join a union now, I'd rather not spend the money...
