Pro-Lite Bracciano Bearings
My apologies if this is a repeat post, but I have searched and not found an answer. I have some rear wheel play in the rear wheel and am going to replace the bearings. this seems fairly straight forward. I have a couple of questions:
1. The bearing apparently in these are EZO 6901 RU I have gone on the Simplybearings website and can find 6901 loads are listed but no RU, does this make much difference? Which ones would people order? (Part Number is poss please)
2. Do I need some kind of press to fit the new ones, or will the article which I have read suggesting you put them in the freezer overnight work fine?
Many thanks in advance for help on this.

It's a Novatec 392 model, with a 12 mm rear axle. It uses a 12x24 on the left and a 12x28 on the right... plus 2 x 12x24 in the freehub and also a needle bearing inside the freehub. It's all standard (the width that is), so they are easy to find on Simplybearings. If you need a new freehub, it is a Novatec model C, which you can buy from BDOP cycling in Taiwan if you don't find the Pro-lite spare part (but check CRC< as they do stock some Prolite stuff)left the forum March 20230

Would you buy the rubber sealed ones on Simply Bearings? What are the 12x28 ones if the 12x24 are 6901 (please excuse my ignorance on this.) If you could recommend part numbers on that website that would be great!

12 x 28 x 8... yes, buy the rubber sealed and if you find the SKF cheap, get those ones, they have better seals (and a bit more drag as a consequence)

Brilliant, thanks for the heads up and just a last quick question, are the front ones just 2 of the 6901 for reference?
