I need to know which one is better so if the Defy 3 is better I could negotiate with the shop over the Defy 2.
the Defy 3 is 50 euro more expensive.

Defy 3.
newer bike, better cassette(if you're in good shape ), 50 euro is nothing in price difference.you also get carbon fork on newer one and better rims.no contest.

I've got the 2013 Defy and have to agree with the above opinion. The wheels on the 2014 are different to the 2013 version and in my view that's not a bad thing as they've been hugely disappointing. The rest of it is almost identical, barring the cassette so depending on the actual price you won't go far wrong!
