Tiagra 9 speed front mech replacement?

Will a 10 speed Tiagra front mech work ok or do I have to find a 9 speed version? Wiggle say that the 9 speed chain is too wide but I cant believe the mech is that sensitive?

    It will work ok but might rub on the chain a bit at the extremes of the rear cassette.
