Triangular Pennants Showing Place Names

Where did they all go?
Did people pull them off their Bedford CA Camper vans and Ford Vans before they went to the scrap yard or did they die with thier vehicles?
Is there now a collectable side to them?
Are they still made?
It's worring me, the death of the triangular pennant.
Younger readers may not have a clue what they are.

It's all about money, a penant with the name of a town might sell for what, 50p, a pound in some of the more upmarket resorts like Frinton. Put the same town name on the top of a tea spoon and you can sell that item for 4 pounds or even more !

I've actually got a load somewhere - I used to have a tatty but original 1960s vespa with a huge flyscreen on it - put them on the inside of that to make it look period - was somewhat pissed off when the thing blew over in a gale and smashed the screen.
