Sram extracting nut
Evening folks. I'm having a bit of an issue removing my chainset.
Never had any issues removing chainsets using the sram extracting system but when unscrewing the 8mm hex earlier, it tightened up against the 16mm as it should but then began to spin the 16mm out too. Just wondering if anyone has another method of taking these off?
I could try tightening up the 16mm more but I don't have a 16mm hex key. I've read that you can use the head from a 16mm bold as the key to tighten it up but I don't have one of those either.
Any ideas?

got a crank extractor?
or remove the bolts and check the plasticy washer is between them and grease them up.
yes you can use a bolt to tighten it up."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

IIRC the extractor thread is the same and the ISIS/Octalink end works fine.
Been a while since I have had one need an extractor tool so I may be getting confused."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
