Chain keeps getting stuck.......

Hi guys,

After a little bit of help if possible.........

My chain keeps failing off the front chain set when I am in the lowest gear with it, when it comes off it is getting stuck between the gap between the frame and the chain set to the point I am struggling to get the chain out.

Is there anything I can buy to fit in-between the frame and chain set to stop this happening or does anyone have any ideas?

What's your setup?

Perhaps adjust the limit screws on the mech?

I have 3 at the front and 8 at the back. I could have a look at the screws, would it be as simple as that?

Yes, a correctly adjusted low limit screw is designed to prevent exactly that happening.

No because it shouldn't come of and if it does bounceoff it should go right back on again.
