THE AIR AMBULANCE SERVICE 2013 RUTLAND WATER BIKE RIDE IS GOING TO BE A FANTASTIC DAY AND YOU ARE PART OF THE TEAM!
Welcome on board the annual Rutland Water Bike Ride for The Air Ambulance Service! It’s fantastic to have your support for our event and we can’t wait to see you on Sunday 22nd September 2013. You will be with us to celebrate the continued success of the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance, Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, and The Children’s Air Ambulance, which flew its first patient in May 2013. Joining us will help raise essential funds to ensure we can continue to provide our lifesaving services.
LOCATION: Whitwell Leisure Park, Bull Brigg Lane, Whitwell, Rutland, LE15 8BL.
DATE: Sunday 22nd September 2013
EVENT TYPE: 17, 23, 34 or 46 mile cycle ride on cycle track around Rutland Water.
TIMINGS: Registration opens at 07:30am. Welcome and safety briefing at 07:55am. The 46 and 34 mile routes start at 8am and closes at 8:45am. The 23 mile route starts at 09:00am and the 17 mile route starts at 09:30am and closes at 11:00am. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before you wish to start to allow time for registration. We'd ask that all cyclists are back to the finish for 4:00pm.
PARKING: Parking is available on site at the event and costs £5.00.
EQUIPMENT HIRE: Bike, buggies and helmets can be hired for an additional cost on the day.
