Wow. Looks amazing - I used to think BMCs were too 'square' and boring but they are really fast looking machines and would be on my shortlist if I had that money!

    Road - Dolan Preffisio
    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.

Love it, i've got the TM01 its a phenomenal machine. Be warned if you need to change brake pads on the rear brake you'll need to take the chainset off...

I've just set them up ready for winter and they won't need doing until February.... I hope.

The only thing i am probably going to change is the front tyre. 22mm is great for a TT but i ride this in all weathers and I probably need a better contact patch.

This thing climbs well, descends amazingly fast and on the flat thanks to these c50's it goes all day at silly speeds. the steering is surgical, very precise.

Looks rapid, BMC's have really grown on me recently.

Would personally go with black cages though...
  • I think it looks pretty good qwith the red cages. BMC are very popular in Austria, and I had a few BMC mountain bikes. Very good kit!

the bike is dark grey though, they don't go!
I've got black red and white elites on the winter bike which is Black Red and White (a streetracer 2012).

i wonder how it handles and rides compared to my TM01. i might have to track one down for a test ride.

    Its absolutely lovely though!

oh and ignore everything Pnev says.

Maybe you can test ride this one? Looks about the right height for you ;-)

the geometry is based around the team machine so will handle differently to the TM01, which doesn't seem to do sharp corners or hairpins well (mine does all corners well)... . I noticed BMC have a TMR02 version out with standard front brakes, this morning. Garish paint jobs but look the biz. built to a budget though. Tiagra cranks and R501 wheels.... yikes. seems they've also released an entry level team machine....

After experimenting with force/attack tyres, I’ve now settled on a setup with GP4000s Front and Force Rear. 23 and 24mm. I’ve also swapped the stem out for a -17% ARX team so its as low as I’d need it on the front.

Warning to people that want force and attack tyres, the force is excellent the attack is a puncture magnet. Mine lasted 4 weeks and had a 1cm tear where the armoured section runs out ( where the tread is). tried the bike with 25mm gp 4000s tyres, but on the front there is literally less than 2mm clearance, and that makes me nervous re gravel and other detritus on the ground (though the bike handles phenomenally well with the 4000s in either 23 or 25mm tyres).

I have 32 mm tyres on my Fugio and there is another 20 mm clearance, should I want to go for bigger doughnuts...

32mm. I wish! I'll have to use the old bike for the bigger tyres!

Post some better pics, please? I love the TMR01 but that photo isn't doing it the justice it deserves.
